Getting to Know Me - An Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!

I am a first time blogger and decided to start chronicling my adventures in the world of crafting as a hobby and as a business. I have been doing a vareity of different crafts since I was a little girl. My grandmother taught my to crochet potholders and from there on out I was hooked on making things with my own two hands. I love to make jewelry, do mixed media collages, crochet, sew and I am even learning to knit.

I have started down the path to creating a business out of my love for arts and crafts. My first step has been to create a page at Etsy. This is a great site that allows artists and crafters worldwide an oppurtunity to market themselves in an affordable manner. It is also a great tool for connecting with other artisans. I am also venturing into the world of advertising on the web. I will be trying out a variety of methods and relating to all of you the costs and effectiness of the various methods and at the same time, hopefully, drumming up some business for my online boutique.
